Information we collect
Online credit check (homepage funnel): name, contact details, residential address, identity type and number, ID document upload, monthly income and expenses, referral source (optional), and consent records including timestamp and consent text version.
Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), subject, message, and technical metadata needed to deliver your enquiry.
Calculators: inputs you enter stay in your browser unless you contact us separately; we do not store calculator inputs on our servers.
Technical data: IP address, browser user agent, and similar logs may be collected by our hosting and security providers for fraud prevention and service operation.
How we use your information
To run your credit check and connect you with a broker for next steps.
To respond to contact enquiries and provide mortgage origination services you request.
To meet legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.
To improve site security and prevent abuse (including Google reCAPTCHA on submit actions where enabled).
Who we share information with
Credit check submissions are sent to our credit-report partner (Scorefix) to obtain a credit report for our brokerage. We do not email the report to you. ID documents uploaded in the funnel are stored in our secure application storage and are not sent to Scorefix in the same payload as your other fields.
Email notifications related to your submission may be sent through our email provider.
Address lookup uses Google Places when you search for an address in the funnel.
We do not sell personal information to third parties for marketing.
Retention
We retain funnel and contact records for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods may differ by record type and regulatory requirement.
Your rights under POPIA
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
You may object to processing where applicable and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No online transmission is completely secure; please use trusted networks when submitting personal information.
